For the continuation of BitsGreat's roadshows, a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was created for the company's future references. Any new member of the BitsGreat team who needs guidance will be able to understand better after referring to the SOP.
We strongly believe that corporates are one of the best customer segments for BitsGreat to extend their reach to. With the type of product that BitsGreat produces, it is best to hit a "mass" market where they can target groups of customers rather than individuals one at a time.
Moving forward, we still intend to follow up with BitsGreat's progress over the next few months as they journey their way to being sustainable. We will continue to involve ourselves with their operations and offer our help.
Although BitsGreat is not a social enterprise owned by the 4 of us, we were fairly involved with their operations since the first month of their launch. In a way, it feels like starting our own business (process of social media marketing, customer acquisition, running pop-up booths), except that it wasn't at the expense of our own risk.
We would look out for volunteering activities relating to disadvantaged youths as another way for us to know them better.
Depending purely on a single product could not suffice a start-up's marketing. Our first implementation of smaller sized kits (16x16 kits) proved to be worth expanding on as the cheaper priced products attracted larger crowds and enticed more impulse purchases.
BitsGreat can also venture towards conducting team-building workshops for their standard-sized kits - employees can work together to form a portrait together.
If BitsGreat is able to market their products in a way that companies recognise them to be the go-to provider for team-building activities, this new channel of revenue will be extremely beneficial to their business.
Currently, financially disadvantaged youths are BitsGreat's main beneficiaries. In the future, they can consider extending them to those that fall within the broad spectrum of Youths-At-Risks, from organisations like Boys Town and Trybe Limited.
