Embracing Ourselves:

8 Week Course on Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC)™

“Most feel compassion when a friend is in trouble. What would it be like to receive the same support every time we need it?

All that is required is a shift in your attention - recognizing that you too are worthy of compassion. " C. Germer

MSC ™ combines the skills of Mindfulness and Self-Compassion, providing a powerful tool for emotional resilience. This methodology was created by Christopher K. Germer, PhD, Harvard professor and leader in integrating mindfulness and psychotherapy and Kristin Neff, PhD, professor at the University of Austin and pioneering researcher in the field of self-compassion.

This program is a psycho-educational intervention and experiential training, of 9 sessions in 8 weeks, designed to cultivate the ability to recognize our moments of suffering, remembering the shared humanity of these experiences, to approach them with compassion towards oneself. In this adventure of self-discovery, we will accompany you to cultivate skills of self-compassion and you will learn fundamental principles and practices that will allow you to respond to difficult emotions and pain with a more comprehensive perspective.
