The general programmes cover most sectors and the four mathematic teachers participating in “Progmath” project work in the general theoretical education. They work inside a team of 13 mathematics teachers, and teach towards children aged between 15 and 18, assembled in classes of 35 pupils.

During the five last years, the mathematic teachers have implemented algorithm in their classes. Since September 2017, following instructions from the Ministry of National Education, they have improved those skills, and they have trained pupils to computer programming, and especially to the use of “Python” language.

Lycée Saint Exupery is an upper secondary school with approximately 1800 students and 170 teachers in Blagnac, situated close to the Toulouse international airport and the Toulouse final assembly facilities of Airbus. The lycée offers a variety of education including vocational programmes as well as general theoretical programmes. The vocational programmes intended to 600 students are oriented towards manufacturing, industrial maintenance and aerospace technology.
