Martin Parker

'Get ready for yet another cheap shot at business schools. “Shut Down the Business School: What’s Wrong with Management Education” eloquently authored by a little-known professor from a business school that fails to make either the Financial Times or the Economist rankings.' (Forbes 2018)

This website is a list of publications for Martin Parker, a Professor in the School of Business at the University of Bristol. I write about alternative organizations and economy, critical management studies and odd forms of organizing like pirates, tower cranes, the zoo, weeds and choirs of angels. See here for my ResearchGate site.

As well as writing academic pieces, I also write journalism and have published in The Guardian, Observer, Le Monde, The Conversation, Aeon and other places. I'm happy to hear from editors or journalists on martin.parker@bristol.ac.uk or @ProfMartinP.
