This is one of my favorite courses. Many students come into this course not knowing what to expect but are thoroughly surprised when they learn something new about the computer. This computer literacy course is designed to familiarize the learner with a variety of computer tools and computer concepts with emphasis on utilizing Microsoft Office Suite Programs. This course satisfies the technology component of the information competency graduation requirement.
Additionally this course allows the learner to challenge a globally recognized certification (IC3 Digital Literacy Certification) which is a credential that justifies ones proficiency in computer fundamentals, internet concepts, and widely utilized office software programs.
