In unit 6, I worked with database to retrieve, sort, and organize information. I also practiced analyzing data to find patterns and make sense of it.

I used the database at https://guides.loc.gov/applied-science-engineering-technology to search for articles and information. I filtered my results by keywords, subjects, and dates, and I sorted them by relevance or newest first to find what I needed. While exploring, I noticed the database stores information in connected tables, which makes searching and organizing everything easier.

I learned new key terms in this unit. The words I learned in this unit is field ( as related to DBs) , record (as related to DBs) , query, DBMS, information . I already had a good idea what data, knowledge, and wisdom was.
