Daniele Bifolco
Daniele Bifolco was born in Sarno (SA), Italy, on March 2, 1997. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Salerno, Italy, in November 2020, and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the same University, in July 2023. Daniele started his Ph.D. in Information Technologies for Engineering at the University of Sannio (Benevento), Italy, in December 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Massimiliano di Penta and Prof. Giuseppe Scanniello. The primary focus of his research is the Modeling and Management of Intellectual Property and Privacy in Artificial Intelligence Intensive software systems. His research interests include Mining Software Repositories, Empirical Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Security in software engineering.Fatima Ahmed

Giovanna Stornaiuolo was born in Battipaglia on May 2nd, 1981. She obtained a degree in Psychology from the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli", Italy, in 2005 and a four-year specialization diploma in Psychotherapy in 2012. She has been registered as a Registered Professional of the Order of Psychologists of the Campania Region since 2007. He participated, in 2019, as a scholarship holder at the University of Salerno, Department of Human, Philosophical and Educational Sciences, in the research project "Improvement of teaching techniques by eye tracking in technology-enhanced classrooms", under the supervision of Prof. Filomena Faiella and subsequently, at the Department of Medicine, Surgery and Dentistry, again as a scholarship holder, she collaborated with the chair of Developmental and Educational Psychology, particularly in the management of Erasmus+ projects, with the scientific supervision of Prof. Giulia Savarese. Riccardo D'Avino was born in Salerno (SA), Italy, on January 10, 1996. He received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Salerno, Italy, in December 2020, under the supervision of Prof. Vincenzo Carletti. In March 2025, he began working on a project focused on Predictive Algorithms for the Care and Prevention of Chronic Heart Failure under the supervision of Prof. Giuseppe Scanniello. He received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Salerno, Italy, in May 2024, with a thesis focused on the Internet of Medical Things. He worked as a computer science teacher through Virvelle srl in 2024. In October 2024, he started his master's degree in Computer Science, IoT curriculum. Giuseppe De Filippo was born in Naples, Italy, on January 26, 1998. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Salerno, Italy, in September 2020. In September 2024, he obtained his Master's Degree in Computer Science (110/110 cum laude) from the same university, with a thesis focused on Self-Sovereign Identity for IoT, exploring authentication and security mechanisms in distributed environments. During his studies, he completed an internship at Youbiquo S.r.l., gaining experience in industrial IoT solutions. His main area of specialization is Cybersecurity, with a particular focus on IoT systems. His research on secure authentication models for IoT, explored in his Master's thesis, reflects his broader interest in designing scalable and interoperable security solutions for connected environments. He is collaborating with Prof. Giuseppe Scanniello through Medinet S.r.l., focusing on projects that integrate cutting-edge research in IoT with practical industry solutions.Simranjit Singh
Simranjit Singh was born in Montichiari (BS), Italy, on 20 July 1998. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (110/110 cum laude) from the University of Salerno, Italy, in October 2021, under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Francesco Abate. In July 2024, he obtained his Master's Degree in Computer Science (110/110 cum laude) from the same university, under the supervision of Prof. Genoveffa Tortora. His main areas of specialization are Data Science and Machine Learning, with a passion for working with data. He enjoys analyzing information, finding patterns, and using data to solve real-world problems. During his studies, he gained practical experience through an internship at Hightek S.r.l. and a collaborative project with Engineering S.p.A. He has also had the opportunity to conduct programming courses as a teacher through Virvelle. Currently, he is collaborating with Prof. Giuseppe Scanniello through Medinet S.r.l., working on projects that bridge academic research with industry applications.Caulo Maria
She was born in Pisticci (MT), Italy, on 07/31/1990. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Basilicata, Italy, in 2014, and a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the same University in 2017. She has been working at Apperò s.r.l. in 2016 and 2017 as a Software Designer and Developer of Mobile Apps. She currently is a PhD student in Software Engineering at the University of Basilicata (in consortium with the University of Salento), in particular at the BASE Lab, under the supervision of Prof. Giuseppe Scanniello. She mainly works in the fields of Mining Software Repositories, Software Fault Prediction, but she is also interested in the Migration of Mobile Apps and in Software Visualisation.Carmen Coviello
Carmen Coviello was born in Potenza, on 10/28/1990. She received her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Basilicata, Italy, in 2014. Her thesis project was on the parallel computing between CPU and GPU. In 2017 she received her Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the same university with a thesis project named "TRiKC: Test suite Reduction based on string Kernel and Clustering". Her research interests include Empirical Software Engineering and Software Testing. She is currently a Software Engineering PhD student in her last year under the supervision of Professor Giuseppe Scanniello at the University of Basilicata (BASE Lab).
