Privacy Policy - Lite

Personal data (usually referred to just as "data" below) will only be processed by us to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly app, including its contents, and the services offered there.

Per Art. 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR"), "processing" refers to any operation or set of operations such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or otherwise making available, alignment, or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction performed on personal data, whether by automated means or not.

The following privacy policy is intended to inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis for the processing of such data either under our own control or in conjunction with others. We also inform you below about the third-party components we use to optimize our app and improve the user experience which may result in said third parties also processing data they collect and control.

Please note that the base of our app does not collect any personal information. However, we integrated different third-party components which help us to analyze usage and user-related information and offer advertisements. These third-party components could collect and process personal data on their own responsibility.

In addition, the controller is obliged to inform all recipients to whom it discloses data of any such corrections, deletions, or restrictions placed on processing the same per Art. 16, 17 Para. 1, 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. Nevertheless, users have a right to information about these recipients.

Likewise, under Art. 21 GDPR, users and data subjects have the right to object to the controller's future processing of their data pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is permissible. You can choose between personalized and non-personalized ads in settings every time if your country belongs to European Environment Agency and/or GDPR applies in your situation.

III. Information about the data processing

Your data processed when using our app will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for its storage ceases to apply, provided the deletion of the same is not in breach of any statutory storage obligations or unless otherwise stipulated below.

Server data

For technical reasons, some data sent by your internet browser to our hosting provider "Google Sites". These data might contain the type and version of your browser, your preferred language or your IP address. If you are concerned about the collection of server data, you can try to change your internet browser’s settings.

Google Play Services and Google Play Games Services

It is likely that you used the Google Play Services (service provided by Google Inc., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland (hereinafter: Google)) in order to download this app. During this process, Google might has collected some data. Unfortunately, we do not have any influence on this behavior.

Additionally, you can login to Google Play Games Services in settings. This enables two features in the user interface of the game: leaderboard (worldwide ranking of collected points) and achievements. However, the login is optional: If you do not want to use these features or do not want Google to collect more data, just do not login to Google Play Games Services.

Google claims that it will follow the EU's data protection regulations when processing data in the United States.

Firebase

We use Firebase in our app. This is an analytics service provided by Google Inc., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland (hereinafter: Google).

The Firebase service is used to analyze how our application is used. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our application. However, if your country belongs to European Environment Agency and/or GDPR applies in your situation, Firebase will become active after you explicitly agreed to data collection only.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, place, time, or frequency of starting different experiments will be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of interaction with our app and what visitors do once there. This data can also be used to provide other services related to the use of our app.

Google claims that it will follow the EU's data protection regulations when processing data in the United States. In addition, Google states that it will not connect your IP address to other data. In addition, Google provides further information with regard to its data protection practices here including options you can exercise to prevent such use of your data.

AdMob

We use Google AdMob in our app to integrate advertisements. This is a service provided by Google Inc., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland (hereinafter: Google).

AdMob saves files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers – also known as "Cookies" – on your device. If you are living in a country which belongs to the European Economic Area, you have the choice between personalized or non-personalized advertisement. You can change your choice at any time in the app's settings. However, Google AdMob stores at least one cookie on your device in every case: If you choose "non-personalized advertisement", your choice will be saved using a unique cookie containing an identifier and the information that only non-personalized advertisement should be shown. If you choose "personalized advertisement", this will enable Google to serve you interesting advertisements and collect data which also will be connected to a unique identifier ("advertisement id"). In addition to your IP address and the advertising formats displayed, the information thus collected will be transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there. Google may also share this information with third parties. Google states that it will not connect your IP address to other data.

The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimization and cost-covering operation of our app.

If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option of installing the pro version of this app which disables advertisement and also Firebase.
