“Children are the least responsible for climate change, yet they bear the biggest burden of its impacts”.
An important part of Primero's mission is to improve data and evidence for child protection. The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action has just published an Analytical Report and Review of the Child Protection Case Management Data in humanitarian settings. The report presents findings from six humanitarian settings: Bangladesh, Kenya, Lebanon, Myanmar, Nigeria, and Ukraine. The study analyzed data on over 91,000 children registered in CPIMS+ between 2020 and 2023. The report highlights areas for improvement in data consistency and system interoperability, informing ongoing initiatives to enhance child protection services globally. It also highlights the utility of CPIMS+ in supporting evidence-based case management and sector-wide accountability. Full report here, or click the image.
