What did we learn? Some key points:

Access to case data in Primero is permissioned via the individual's role. If a user has view only access to some records, their access to data via the Case API will only include that data.
The principle of data minimization encourages us to limit the number of exports we request from Primero. Using the API is a good way to do this, as it doesn't require the creation of separate file.
To use the API, you need to understand how to manage parameters. It's not that hard to do. Give it a try!
