Every year the Price Reading Council offers multiple professional development sessions. This 2020-2021 year we're here to help you virtually and plan to offer the following virtual PD:

• Mastery Learning Through Google Forms

• Best Practices For Remote Learning With ELL Students

  • Bilingual ELL instructor, Lisa Sibaja, gives insight into the best practices for EL learners in a remote learning environment. Lisa has partnered with Jill Baldwin who is a current virtual teacher with a masters degree in instructional technology to provide this opportunity.

• Setting Up MyON Units Of Study

  • Includes tasks such as reading, writing, graphic organizers and general tasks that can collaborate with any Canvas unit that a teacher creates.

• Stop Motion As An Informative Assessment Tool

  • Tutorials and ideas for how to use Stop Motion to conduct virtual formative assessments related to NCSCOS for grades K-6.
