Price Reading Council is located in the mountains of western North Carolina. We are an affiliate of the North Carolina Reading Association and serve the counties of Alleghany, Ashe, Watauga, and Wilkes.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support literacy growth in the communities and schools of the High Country.

We plan to do this by:

• providing lending libraries in different locations around the high country

• encouraging and developing educators through professional development and learning communities

• partnering with local schools to provide funding for literacy programs and materials

• and more!
