3rd at IEEE SP Cup 2020

ICASSP 2020, Barcelona

In this research-oriented competition, a novel problem of unsupervised abnormality detection has been launched. Accordingly, our main goal was to detect abnormalities in the behavior of the ground and aerial systems based on embedded sensor data in real-time. Abnormality detection in the behavior of ground and aerial systems is a challenging task, especially in an unsupervised way. My teammates and I left no stone unturned to complete the task. In this competition, I made my contribution to the data extraction and preprocessing phase. Finally, my heartfelt thanks to the organizers for arranging such an innovative competition.

3rd at IEEE VIP Cup 2020

ICIP 2020, UAE

This competition mainly focuses on the detection and tracking of vehicles at a junction using a fish-eye camera. The major challenge of this competition is that the videos provided in the dataset were recorded using a fish-eye camera, which basically presents a 360-degree view of the roads. In this work, I have contributed to building the object detection model. Many thanks to the organizers for arranging such a novel competition.

University Physics Competition 2020

The University Physics Competition is an international contest for undergraduate students, who work in teams of three at their home colleges and universities all over the world, and spend a weekend in November, 48 hours, analyzing a real-world scenario using the principles of physics, and writing a formal paper describing their work. My teammates and I have come out as the "Bronze Medal" winners this year. We have participated in this competition under the kind supervision of our faculty member, Mohammad Muntasir Hassan" who is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Caltech.

University Physics Competition 2019

This was the first time, we had participated in the "University Physics Competition". In a word, we were complete newbies in these sorts of competitions. However, in the end, we achieved the "Silver Medal".Besides, We attempted the problem called "Design A Roller Coaster". Finally, I would like to thank our supervisor "Dipjoti Paul" who is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at MIT
