The Electric Solar Vehicle Championship (ESVC) project involves designing, fabricating, and optimizing an electric solar-powered vehicle. The aim is to create an eco-friendly, efficient, and innovative vehicle utilizing electric power and solar panels for energy generation and electric motors for propulsion. Teams focus on reducing weight, enhancing performance, and ensuring driver safety while adhering to competition standards. The project integrates mechanical design, electrical engineering, and sustainability principles, providing hands-on experience in renewable energy technologies and vehicle design optimization.

Responsibilities:
Worked on the roll cage design of an adventure class vehicle category of ISIE for Electric Solar Vehicle Championship 2019.
Worked on the design and optimisation of suspension geometry for the vehicle.
Developed the roll cage of the vehicle, it’s design criteria and material selection to manufacture an adventure class vehicle using SolidWorks.
Analysed the roll cage for frontal impact, side impact, roll over and torsional impact under different loading conditions using FEA.
Developed Double Wishbone Suspension system for front wheel of the vehicle.
Worked the fabrication of in-house solar panels assembling solar cells.
Involved in the business plan and cost analysis of the project.
