7/7/2022: Our collaborative paper with the Institute of Fluid Science, Tohoku University, on multi-objective optimization and data mining of a supersonic wing planform has been accepted for publication in Aerospace Science and Technology. 9/11/2019: Our paper "Multi-objective Bayesian Optimization of the Power-Law Configuration for a Low-Boom Waverider" was awarded the Best Student Paper Award in the Sixteenth International Conference on Flow Dynamics in Sendai, Japan. The paper is a collaborative work between Tohoku University and Bandung Institute of Technology. The first author of this paper is Potsawat Boonjaipetch, a Ph.D. student at The Department of Aerospace Engineering, Tohoku University. Congrats, Potsawat!
22/5/2019: Our paper, "A comparative study of multi-objective expected improvement for aerodynamic design" (a collaborative work between Institut Teknologi Bandung and Tohoku University is accepted for publication in Aerospace Science and Technology!
31/8/2018: Two papers accepted for presentation at the AIAA Scitech 2019! One paper discusses the development of multiple kernel learning technique for Gaussian processes. The other paper discusses the application of multi-objective Bayesian optimization technique for high-fidelity wind-turbine design (collaborative work with Bandung Institute of Technology).
23/1/2023: I will be in Maryland, the US, to attend AIAA SciTech Conference 2023. My research group will present five papers on surrogate modeling and physics-informed machine learning.
9/1/2023: I will be in Sendai, Japan, to visit my collaborator (Koji Shimoyama) at Tohoku University.

19/7/2021 - 4/8/2021: We will hold the International Virtual Course on Multidisciplinary Design Optimization and Machine Learning for students across the globe! We will have speakers from Cambridge, SUPAERO, ONERA, Tohoku, ITB (myself), HKUST, and many other universities.
10/7/2021: With my colleagues, we are holding the 4th RWACMO workshop as a part of GECCO 2021. We will have invited speakers from Mazda and University of Strathclyde.
14/6/2021: I will teach basic aerodynamics for high-speed train on the international virtual course on high-speed train technology.
8/7/2020 - 12/7/2020: With my colleagues, we are holding the 3rd Real-World Applications of Continuous and Mixed Integer Optimization (RWACMO) workshop as a part GECCO 2020 (virtual conference). I am also presenting my workshop paper "Uncertainty Quantification Methods for Evolutionary Optimization Under Uncertainty" in this workshop.

I will also host the Workshop on Real-World Applications of Continuous and Mixed-Integer Optimization together with Koji Shimoyama (Tohoku), Akira Oyama (JAXA), Kazuhisa Chiba (Tokyo University of Electro-Communication) and Hemant Kumar Singh (University of New South Wales).
