About me

I am currently pursuing my PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago under guidance of Prof. Myunghee Kim. My thesis is about the Assistive robotics application using machine learning and optimization.

Mission

Primary focus and motivation is making exosuits and prosthetic devices personalized using machine learning methods and Human in the loop optimization.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Graduate Teaching Assistant in Mechatronics Research Lab, (2018 - 201)

University of Illinois at Chicago, Illinois, USA. Guide and adviser: Prof Sabri Cetin

  • Helped set up the lab equipment and equipment for graduate research students to perform experiments in the mechatronics research lab.
  • Assisted prof in making embedded controls and mechatronics text book and solution book using latex
  • Developed experiments for the students also helped grading them.

Design Internship Rail Wheel factory (July 2016)

  • Analyzed the performance of the diesel-powered furnace.
  • Designed bio-fuel stove using design software such as Creo and Solidworks.
  • The eco-friendly design followed ISO 1001 guidelines.

Online Internship Unitech - Transfer (GMBH) (July - Aug 2016)

  • Learned robot dynamics, geometry, control system and its behavior in the simulation.
  • Conceptualized and simulated robots, robotic assembly system.
  • Assigned tasks to the robot in virtual space using ABB RobotStudio
