Teacher Appreciation Theme - “We Are Taking it Back to the 90s!” (May 4-8)
Shout out to Mansions of Denton for covering cost of dips/chips, fruit, & veggies
Shout out to Pizza Hut who donated 50 pizzas
Shout out to Pecan Creek Strawberry Farm for donating decals for coasters
Shout out to Home Depot for donating tiles for coasters
Teacher Appreciation Raffle Gifts
$614 cash donation from parents, gift basket donations from families as well
Covered cost of 2nd Grade field trip - 6 students ($53.00)
5. Upcoming Events/Future Opportunities for Volunteering
ES Field Day, Monday, May 18 - popcorn station (popping Sunday at 2 - 1 bounce house ordered), other volunteer options on Parent Square link posted by Mrs. Merrill (Will turn on AC 1-4 while popping the popcorn)
ECC Field Day, Tuesday, May 19 - 3 bounce houses ordered possibly inside -due to thunderstorms :(
1st Day School Supplies store is now live online - link posted online. Will be shipped to home. ( Send to Kaylee a print out for this and send out to on parentsquare) DONT FORGET
6. Other Important Information:
Outdoor Recess Money - getting closer. Basketball hoop (already approved), Triple Shoot ball game, climbing dome, and Connect Four fence game. (Sending email of items to Mrs. Pike & Dr. Perry for approval)
Will be updating bylaws this summer and then the VP position and chair person positions will be filled at that time. (Going to speak to a new lawyer about updating)
7. Open Floor/Questions:
More planning - more of a chair
Non profit - certificate needs to be updated so we can take to Businesses for sponsorships next year*** (Talked to IRS-said it should be posted within 6 weeks)
** HS culinary department-maybe see if we can use them next year for an event
