The Powell Township Fire Department serves the community out of 2 stations. Our main station is located at 103 Bensinger Street in Big Bay and our secondary station is located at the Halfway on the corner of County Road 550 and KCI.
Station #1 which is located at 103 Bensinger Street is our Headquarters and currently houses our main office and the following pieces of apparatus:

Station #2 The Bill Dionne Fire Station & Park at the Halfway (SW Corner of County Road 550 and KCI ) currently houses the following pieces of apparatus:

303 Bensinger which is now the Big Bay Outfitters Storefront was home to Big Bay's 1st fire station where it housed a single engine in the mid 1970's. This building also served as the town's Jail and Constables Office back in the early days of Big Bay.
