The Welcoming Letter

Dear Poseidon Members and Audiences,

Welcome to Poseidon (Psychology International Development Organization), I surely hope you enjoy your stay in Poseidon as both members and our audiences of growth.

Poseidon started off in 2018 as a semi-autonomous organization, carrying the main duty to enable psychology majors of University of Muhammadiyah Malang to ease the search of opportunities for scholarship and exchange programs. We mainly focus on scholarship information gathering, and self-development preparation to studying abroad.

The reason we formed Poseidon was under the motivation to create a platform for psychology majors to share the same wills, that is to study aboard and gain international experiences. We believe by enabling them to share the same intentions in this platform, they will form a collective motivation to support each other. By these collective supports, only then the road to getting scholarship and international experiences will feel a lot smoother.

Our dream is quite simple. On the ideal level, we want our members to all be participating on International event opportunities and spread the knowledge of psychology to the world. However, the world is far from the word ideal. The least we can dream and hope of, is for our members to at least try seeking those opportunity themselves and use Poseidon as their platform to collaborate and grow.

In short, by building this platform we hope to create a better accessibility for you (University of Muhammadiyah Psychology Majors) in gaining international experiences, exposures and value. Please take care of our organization, our vision, and our value. We’d love to see you grow from where we left of exploring together. In Unity We Explore.
