Understand how the use of rubrics serves as an essential resource / component to move the Portrait into Practice
Share examples of rubrics (product) and spotlight a school’s efforts (process) to define, norm and implement competencies aligned to the Portrait of a Graduate
Invite participation in and launch a new Working Group
Session B - Leaders Catalyzing Change: Anticipate & Bridge the Chasm
Objectives
Anticipate the change chasm while moving the Portrait into Practice
Identify and commit to launching adult development moves to hasten the early majority
Network with a school team(s) to provide peer inspiration and accountability

Session A: Defining and Measuring Success, A Deeper Dive into Portrait Competencies and Supporting Rubrics ZOOM LINK
Review your existing portrait language on competencies including any developing sub-indicators or associated rubrics/tools
Review your current Action Plan and associated Outputs/Outcomes in order to prepare to talk about the role that rubrics will play in Phase II Action Plan
Session B: Leaders Catalyzing Change: Anticipate & Bridge the Chasm
Review and edit, as needed, the self-assessment prioritizing 2-3 descriptors to move towards post-industrial education
Identify one component of your PoG action plan to focus on during the session
Watch the How to Make a Cultural Transformation by Simon Sinek (10 minutes) featuring the Law of Diffusion of Innovations. How does this theory apply to that facet of your PoG action plan?
