If you’re new to the Mariposa Run, here's some helpful info on what to expect

This blog will be a compilation of all the details as Mariposa approaches. You're welcome to ask us questions at pdxmotosyndicate@gmail.com as well!

THE WAIVER

Insurance is important at any motorcycle event. Keeping you safe is our main concern.

For the love of all that you deem holy, please sign the waiver <--- (click here!) if you haven't already done so. It's all electronic this year.

We love to eat and drink!

Meals at Mariposa will include two dinners and two breakfasts. There will be gluten-free and vegan options.

Lunches are on your own.  Some routes have many great lunch stops, some are more rural.  Once routes are announced, you and the others in your group can plan accordingly.

We also encourage snacks! Bring your favorite non-perishable and melt-free treats.

Of course, you're invited to bring your favorite beverage along with plenty of water. A bit of beverage tasting will occur at the run.

A No-Waste Event

We realize there is going to be waste, but we're attempting to minimize it. Bring your reusable dishes , cups, sporks, and napkins! We'll have washing stations for your tableware. In a pinch just bring a plastic grocery store container as a plate / bowl. Bring the lid and pack snacks in it for the ride over.

Our love for Ma Nature is deep and maybe if we appease her, our weather will cooperate!

Pre-party

Annually, we announce routes and do a meet-and-greet at the preparty. This year's party will take place at Strombreaker Brewing in St. Johns. This party is always no-host.

You can find other people at your comfort level for riding. Small groups can choose routes, coordinate times to leave and stops along the way. Join us! You do not need to be registered to attend this event.

This year's pre-party will take place on Sunday, June 14 from 1-4 pm.

Packing Your Bike

Multiple night camping off your motorcycle can seem overwhelming. We're here to help. We'll have more tips at the pre-party. The *packing list* page at this website will help you with specifics.

The rad Harley also created packing tips in an Instagram reel that's pinned in our profile @mariposarun

Safety

Coverage at any point of the run is questionable with any carrier. Assume you may not have turn-by-turn directions, digital payment options, or a way to let your people know you're safe. Plan ahead and carry cash. Travel with friends!

Routes!

We'll have rough routes for planning at the pre-party. Please check your email for basic route information after the pre-party. You can work up your own turn-by-turn directions or follow someone else. Physical addresses will be given out at Friday morning registration.
