Portland Moto Syndicate is a non-profit focusing on women's riding in the Pacific Northwest. Our flagship event was the women's  Mariposa Moto Run in 2021. We're expanding all the time, join us!

A local women’s riding group, protests for social justice, and the dream of a nomadic women’s motorcycle run were the impetus for the non-profit we call Portland Moto Syndicate.

Many Portland residents publicly protested for racial and social change in the spring and summer of 2020 while a pandemic raged. We talked about using our largest and most diverse platform to express public dissent, but decided that it would be performative since we’d never used women’s motorcycling in this way before.

The confluence of a desire to raise money to benefit women and girls of color and the need for a motorcycle rally like no other for women led us to create Portland Moto Syndicate to oversee first the Mariposa Motorcycle Run and later a one-day event called Vroomsticks. The long term plan is to create other opportunities in mentorship and women’s motorcycling. These events have beneficiaries serving local women and girls with a focus on those putting women of color in the center.
