Background:

This photo is of me and my husband, Taylor Miles, when visiting Vancouver, BC. He works for Arc'teryx. He is starting the first customer service team in the United States and needed to go the headquarters for training. We took the opportunity to visit this little marina during our visit.

Design:

• Art history brush tool to stylize the strokes of the image. Different size of brush were used for different desired effects. Starting with a larger brush, I did the entire photo. Then started working my way in using a smaller and smaller brush. When I got to the center (our faces) I realized that I needed to adjust the size of my brush on the outer edges because I went from large to small, I needed a more gradual change going into the center.
