I have always had a love for learning. I began my professional career as a 7th grade math teacher in Shawnee, Kansas. My teaching career then continued as a 7th grade math teacher in Bentonville, Arkansas. Becoming a virtual instructor led me to an opportunity to receive an Instructional Technology Masters Certificate through the University of Central Arkansas. My work with media production made me realize that Instructional Design and eLearning was where I wanted to be. Helping adult learners become more successful at their job is important. I want to make a difference and support others. Deadlines, checklists, and a busy schedule have never scared me away. Learning new technology tools and software is a hobby and a pastime. I am known for putting in the work to learn quickly and learn fast. Life is boring if you aren't learning something new every day!
When I am not working, my interests include my two beautiful little girls. Jaylynn is 6-years-old and in first grade. My youngest, Gracelynn, is 2-years-old. Staying active is extremely important to me. The community at Burn Boot Camp - Springdale has filled my cup and kept the stress away for nearly two years now. You can also find me with a book in hand when free time permits.
