The game follows the protagonist, Rosa, who has just lost her wife and needs to arrange their photos in an album.
These images from Petals in the Wind show the menu screen and gameplay. It was developed for the Integrated Project V course as part of the Game Design program at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPEL). The assignment was structured as a mini game jam, where each game had to be developed in one month.
The project's focus was to create a narrative that addressed the assigned theme of LGBTQIAP+. In the game, the player controls Rosa, an older woman who has recently lost her wife. They must collect photographs and place them in an old album. The game concludes once the album is complete.

My role on this project was scriptwriter and level designer. I also worked on game polish, some pixel art, and general fine-tuning. The team was composed of two programmers, a sound designer, and two artists.
The creative process for the narrative was inspired by the true story of an elderly female couple. Overall, the game fulfilled the prompt of the assigned theme, portraying an LGBTQIA+ couple through various stages of life.
