Servants
In this game, you're a technician hired to fix factory robots and ensure they meet their production quota.
These images show the menu screen and in-game moments from ServOS. The game was developed for the Integrated Project V course in the Game Design program at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPEL). The assignment was to participate in mini game jams, with each game being developed in one month.
The focus of this project was to create a narrative that meaningfully incorporated the chosen asset pack. The player uses tools to manage and repair the robots in a factory to keep them from stopping their work.
My role on this project was to create the soundtrack and the UI concepts. The team also consisted of one programmer and two artists. The inspiration for the game came from personal experiences with capitalism.
Overall, the game met the expectations for the semester by making meaningful use of the asset pack. It also provided valuable experience in sound production and creating concept art.
