eTwinning with Greece

CONTEXT

We start from the Union of two European Educational Centres:

  • the Conservatory of music "Manuel Carra", with a complete range of instrumental specialties: all symphonic musical instruments, singing, piano, guitar organ and flamenco guitar (it is the only conservatory of Malaga that teaches these two latest specialties). Two types of certifications are expedited.

  • the Music School of Komotini. It is an institution of Greece very enriching and with a big experience in European projects, specially eTwinning. From 2018 till today our School has been awarded with the eTwinning School Label. The students have a diverse social, cultural and educational background due to an allocation of different nationalities, ethnic minorities and different cultures, across the area of Thrace, where the School is located. In order to integrate students with such different backgrounds into comprehensive, as well as musical education, the school has adopted various practices, such as mentorship involving students of different age and background, flexible training models, such as individual tutoring, as well as attendance of mixed ability classes, frequent cooperation with parents, and social partners.
