Overview

GRAPEFRUIT IS SOUR is an awareness-driven luxury design concept that transforms refined furniture and environments into meaningful experiences through controlled physical interaction.

Rather than creating products valued only for appearance, materials or function, the concept combines beauty with subtle physical responses that encourage awareness of movement, balance, touch and spatial presence.

The flagship product, the Awareness Chair, uses a subtly suspended seat plane that permits limited, controlled micro-movement when the user changes position. As the seat returns toward its balanced centre, the user naturally notices balance, weight distribution and body position—without screens, buttons or automatic correction.
