Child Safety Standards

1. Introduction

At Pookie, we are committed to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation. We maintain a zero-tolerance stance toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We prohibit any content, behavior, or activity that endangers, sexualizes, or exploits minors. Violations will result in immediate account termination, content removal, and reporting to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). Our app is strictly intended for adult users aged 18 and above.

This comprehensive Child Safety Standard Policy outlines our commitment to safeguarding minors, the measures in place to protect them, and the actions we will take to respond to and prevent abuse.

2. Definitions

Child: Any individual under the age of 18.

Child Sexual Abuse: Any sexual act or conduct with a child, including exploitation, grooming, and visual/material abuse.

User: Any person who interacts with the app, including members and guests.

3. Prohibited Content & Conduct

The following are strictly banned on our app:

• CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material): Visual depictions of minors in sexual acts (including photos, videos, cartoons, or AI-generated content).

• Grooming: Building relationships with minors to facilitate sexual exploitation.

• Sextortion: Threatening minors to extract sexual content or favors.

• Sexualization of Minors: Content that sexualizes children or promotes exploitation.

• Child Trafficking: Soliciting, advertising, or facilitating commercial sexual exploitation of minors. 

4. Age Restriction

To protect minors, we allow only users who are 18 years or older to register for and use our platform. Date of birth is required at signup to enforce this rule.

5. Content Monitoring & User Reporting

Our app provides tools for users to stay safe:

• Users can block other users from contacting them.

• Users can report profiles or content that is inappropriate or abusive.

• Our moderation team reviews reports and takes appropriate action, which may include account suspension or permanent bans.

• Reports of suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation will be immediately investigated.

• Confirmed violations result in account suspension or removal and are reported to the appropriate authorities and organizations such as NCMEC/other local authorities.

6. Detection and Prevention

• Our app uses dedicated moderators to actively detect, review, and remove content or behavior that may endanger minors.

• We continually monitor our systems for suspicious activity and update our safety protocols.

7. Collaboration

We work with leading organizations and law enforcement globally to support efforts aimed at preventing and responding to child sexual exploitation online.

8. Ongoing Improvements

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our practices, improve our safety measures and features or in response to legal or regulatory requirements. We encourage users to review it regularly.

Additional tools and moderation systems will be introduced to enhance user protection and ensure compliance with Google Play policies.

Pookie takes the safety and well-being of children seriously. Any violation of this policy will result in swift action, including removal from our community and involvement of the proper authorities.
