POLYCHAT TERMS AND CONDITIONS Effective Date: March 27, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the PolyChat iOS application and related services. By downloading, accessing, or using PolyChat, you agree to these Terms.
1. About PolyChat
PolyChat is an AI-powered iOS application that offers character-based chat experiences, memory features, milestones, and related content. PolyChat uses OpenAI to generate AI responses and power important features inside the app.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using PolyChat, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
3. OpenAI-Powered Features
PolyChat uses OpenAI to process prompts, message content, and related context in order to generate AI-powered outputs.
Because OpenAI is used in the service:
AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate in some situations
You should not rely on PolyChat or OpenAI-generated output as medical, legal, financial, emergency, or professional advice
You should not submit highly sensitive or confidential information unless you are comfortable with that information being processed to operate the service
We send message conversations and user names to OpenAI to generate needed replies.
Use of OpenAI-related functionality is also subject to applicable OpenAI policies and terms:

4. Permitted Use
You agree to use PolyChat only in a lawful and respectful manner. You must not:
Use the app for illegal, abusive, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes
Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the app or its services
Upload or submit content that violates the rights of others
Use PolyChat or OpenAI-powered outputs to harass, threaten, exploit, or impersonate others
5. User Content
You are responsible for the prompts, messages, images, and other content you submit through PolyChat. By using the app, you grant us the rights reasonably necessary to process, store, and display your content solely for operating the service, including processing through OpenAI and other service providers used by PolyChat.
6. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Ads
PolyChat may offer premium subscriptions, in-app purchases, or rewarded ad-based features. Billing and purchase processing may be handled by Apple and subscription tooling such as RevenueCat. If rewarded ads are enabled, ad delivery may involve Google AdMob or related services.
All purchases are subject to the terms, billing rules, and refund policies of Apple and any applicable platform provider.
7. Privacy
Your use of PolyChat is also governed by the PolyChat Privacy Policy. That policy explains how we collect, use, and share information, including our use of OpenAI in core app functionality.
8. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, modify, or discontinue any part of PolyChat at any time, including OpenAI-powered features, subscriptions, content, pricing, or availability.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
PolyChat is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that any OpenAI-generated or other app content will always be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for your needs.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PolyChat and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, business, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of the app, including issues related to OpenAI-generated content.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to PolyChat if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or create risk for other users, service providers, or the platform.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be interpreted under applicable law. If you need a jurisdiction-specific version, you should have these Terms reviewed and customized by a qualified lawyer before publishing.
