Political Identities Lab

The Bowdoin Political Identities Lab is a collaborative effort to provide a graduate-style research experience to students interested in political psychology and the politics of identity.
Now at Bowdoin College, Dr. Saavedra Cisneros has restarted his search for students and new projects within the context of New England, inviting Bowdoin and Maine college and graduate students to collaborate on questions of shared interest.
The goal of the lab is to develop a strong research program on political identities to help understand voting, social dynamics, and political attitudes in the United States, but with a particular focus on the diversifying NorthEastern part of the United States.
The lab meets twice a month, with two assigned readings for discussion, followed by success celebrations before working on developing new research programs, analyzing existing data and preparing academic submissions for conferences and hopefully in the near future journal submissions.
