Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18/08/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FRESHNESS TEAM ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Android application Ping Test, Speed Test & DNS (package com.pingtest.speedtest.dnschanger, the "App").
THE SHORT VERSION
The App has no accounts and no sign-up. We do not operate any server that your traffic passes through. Everything the App measures and everything you choose is stored on your own device, and we cannot see any of it. The only information that leaves your device goes directly to the public DNS and measurement services you choose to use, and — from the release in which advertising is enabled — to our advertising partners.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not ask for, receive or store:
Your name, email address, phone number or any account credentials — the App has no accounts
Your browsing history, the websites you visit, or the DNS queries your device makes
The contents of any network traffic
Precise location
Contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data
2. How the DNS feature works, and what it does not do
This is the most important section, because the App uses Android's VPN interface and we want to be precise about what that means.
When you connect, the App creates a local network interface on your device only (Android's VpnService). Into that interface it routes only the IP address of the DNS resolver you selected — a single address, not your traffic. It then forwards the DNS questions that arrive there, on UDP port 53, to that resolver, and passes the answers back.
As a consequence:
We operate no server. Nothing is proxied, tunnelled or relayed through infrastructure belonging to us, because we have none.
Your ordinary traffic never enters the interface. Web browsing, games, video and every other connection keep their normal path.
We do not read, log, store or transmit your DNS queries. They are forwarded in memory and discarded.
This is not a privacy VPN. It does not hide your IP address, does not encrypt your traffic, does not make you anonymous, and does not bypass any geographic restriction.
We do not modify, inject, replace or block advertising in other apps or websites.
The App also excludes itself from its own interface, so its measurements are not affected by it.
3. Third parties your device contacts
The App connects directly from your device to public services. We receive nothing from these connections. Like any internet connection, these services can see your IP address and are governed by their own privacy policies.
PURPOSE SERVICES CONTACTED
DNS resolution — only the one you select Cloudflare (1.1.1.1), Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8), Quad9 (9.9.9.9), OpenDNS, CleanBrowsing, DNS.Watch, or any IPv4 address you enter yourself
Ping measurement Public regional endpoints operated by Leaseweb, Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare
Speed measurement Cloudflare speed test endpoints, with Leaseweb and Scaleway endpoints as fallbacks
Subscriptions, if you purchase one Google Play Billing
Advertising, from the release in which it is enabled Our advertising partners — see section 6
If you enter your own DNS address, that address is used exactly as you typed it and is stored only on your device.
4. Information stored on your device
The App stores the following locally, in its own private storage. None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else.
WHAT WHY
The apps you add to your list — package name, app name, whether Android classifies it as a game, and when you added it So your list is still there next time you open the App
Your last 10 speed test results — download and upload speed, latency, endpoint name, timestamp So you can compare results over time
Your settings — interface language, selected mode, selected DNS resolver, any custom DNS address, subscription status, and counters used to decide when to show the rating prompt So the App behaves the way you left it
5. Reading the list of installed apps
To let you choose which game to measure, the App asks Android for the list of applications that have an icon in your launcher. It reads only the package name, the display name and Android's own game/non-game classification. This list stays on your device. It is never uploaded, transmitted or shared, and we never see it.
6. Advertising
This section applies from the release of the App in which advertising is enabled. Until that release, the App contains no advertising software and none of the data described in this section is collected.
When advertising is enabled, ads are delivered by third-party advertising partners. To serve and measure ads, those partners may collect and process:
Your device's Advertising ID — a resettable identifier provided by Android
Your IP address, and an approximate location derived from it
Device and operating system information, such as model, OS version and language
Information about the ads you are shown and interact with
These partners act as independent controllers of the data they collect and process it under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share the App's own on-device data — your app list, your measurements or your settings — with any advertising partner.
You can limit advertising at any time from Android: open Settings → Privacy → Ads and choose Delete advertising ID, or reset it. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before showing personalised advertising, and you will be able to change that choice later.
7. Purchases
If the App offers a paid subscription and you buy one, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never receive your payment card, bank details or billing address. The App receives only a confirmation from Google that a purchase is active, and stores that status on your device so paid features stay unlocked.
8. Permissions the App requests, and why
PERMISSION WHY IT IS NEEDED
Internet, network state, Wi-Fi state To measure latency and speed, and to reach the DNS resolver you selected
VPN service To create the local DNS interface described in section 2. It is the only way an app without root access can change which DNS resolver a device uses
Foreground service To keep the DNS interface running while the App is in the background, and to show you a notification while it is active
Notifications To show the ongoing notification with the one-tap disconnect button
Package visibility To list the apps that have a launcher icon, so you can choose a game — see section 5
Billing To offer subscriptions through Google Play
Vibration, wake lock Interface feedback and keeping measurements running while they complete
9. Children
The App is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us at freshness.tech.feedback@gmail.com and we will act on it.
10. Retention and deletion
Because everything the App stores is on your device, you are in full control of it:
Remove individual apps from your list inside the App
Clear everything at once: Android Settings → Apps → Ping Test, Speed Test & DNS → Storage → Clear storage
Uninstalling the App deletes all of it permanently
We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf. If you have questions about this, write to freshness.tech.feedback@gmail.com.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Since we do not collect or hold personal data about you, we generally have nothing to give you access to, and the fastest route is the deletion steps in section 10.
For data collected by our advertising partners once advertising is enabled, please contact them directly or use the Android advertising ID controls described in section 6. We will help you get to the right party if you write to freshness.tech.feedback@gmail.com.
12. Security
The App stores its data in Android's private per-app storage, which other applications cannot read. Measurement traffic to Cloudflare's speed test endpoints uses HTTPS; some fallback measurement endpoints use plain HTTP because they exist purely to transfer meaningless test bytes and carry no personal data. DNS queries are forwarded using the standard DNS protocol on UDP port 53, which is not encrypted — the App does not offer DNS-over-HTTPS or DNS-over-TLS.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy — for example when advertising is enabled, or when a feature changes what the App does. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for significant changes we will make the change visible in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Terms of Service
Last updated: 16/08/2026
These Terms govern your use of Ping Test, Speed Test & DNS (the "App"), provided by FRESHNESS TEAM. By installing or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What the App does
The App is a measurement tool. It measures the latency of your connection — median round-trip time, jitter and packet loss — measures download and upload speed, and lets you switch which public DNS resolver your device uses, without root access.
WHAT THE APP DOES NOT DO
It does not guarantee a lower ping. It measures before and after a change and shows you both numbers exactly as measured, including when the second is worse than the first.
It does not increase your bandwidth. It measures your connection speed; it cannot raise the speed your provider gives you.
It does not accelerate or reroute game traffic. It has no relay servers and does not change the route your packets take to a game server.
It is not a VPN for privacy. It does not hide your IP address, encrypt your traffic, make you anonymous or bypass geographic restrictions.
It is not security software. It is not antivirus, not a firewall, not an ad blocker and not a content filter.
2. Results depend on your network
Latency and speed are determined by your device, your network, your internet service provider and the route between you and the service you are reaching. Changing DNS resolver may lower your latency, leave it unchanged, or raise it. The App reports the real measured number in every case. Measurements are point-in-time samples and will vary between runs.
3. Games and third-party services
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game publisher, network operator or DNS provider named in the App. The App contains no cheats, hacks or modifications of any kind.
Some competitive online games restrict or prohibit third-party applications that change network settings. Checking the rules of the games and services you use, and accepting any consequences of using the App alongside them, is your responsibility.
4. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, rent, resell or redistribute the App, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to interfere with, overload or attack any network or service, to circumvent access controls, or to break any law that applies to you.
6. Subscriptions
If the App offers a paid subscription:
Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You manage and cancel subscriptions in Google Play → Payments and subscriptions. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription
Refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play refund policy, not by us
7. Advertising
The App may show advertising. Advertisements come from third-party partners and we do not control, endorse or take responsibility for their content or for any site or product they lead to. See section 6 of the Privacy Policy for the data involved.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. Third-party measurement and DNS endpoints used by the App are operated by others and may change or become unavailable without notice.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of measurements, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost matches, ranking changes, account penalties or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you breach these Terms. Sections 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict of law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date, and significant changes will be made visible in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
