Thank you for using Family Moments ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your information. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting it.

Our App is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect very limited information, which falls into two categories:
1. Non-Personal, Anonymous Usage Data
To provide a better and more personalized experience, the App locally stores your preferences on your device. This includes:
Selected Age Range: We save your chosen age range (e.g., "6-9", "10-13") to tailor the question cards appropriately.
Selected Theme: We save your chosen theme (e.g., "Family and Memories") to generate relevant questions.
This information is stored only on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. It is not transmitted to us, and we have no access to it. It is used solely to remember your settings for your next session.
2. Advertising Data Collected by Google AdMob
The App uses Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service, to display advertisements that support the App's development. AdMob may collect and use data to provide personalized ads.
What AdMob Collects: AdMob may collect device information, such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and information about your interactions with ads shown in our App.
Why it's Collected: This data is used to serve relevant ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud.

Our App includes a "Favorite" feature that allows you to save question cards you enjoy. This list of favorited cards is stored locally on your device's internal database. We do not have access to this list, and it is not transmitted off your device. You have full control to view and remove these favorites from within the App.
INTERNET: This permission is required to load and display advertisements from Google AdMob.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: This allows the App to check if a network connection is available before attempting to load ads.
We are committed to protecting your information. Since all user preferences and favorited content are stored locally on your device, the security of that data is primarily handled by the security features of your Android operating system. We do not transmit or store this data on our servers.
Our App is intended for a general audience and may be used by families with children. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The data collected by our advertising partner, Google AdMob, is handled according to their own policies. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
