The Political, Legal, and Moral Philosophy Research Group (POLEMO) at Central European University cordially invites abstract submissions for its annual conference, the 6th POLEMO Symposium, which will take place on May 23-24, 2025 in Vienna, Austria.
The Symposium provides a professional, stimulating, and international environment for PhD students and early career researchers in political, legal, and moral theory to discuss their works in progress, establish informal networks, and initiate future collaborative research.

Call for Papers
The conference is open to current graduate students and early career researchers. We welcome papers on all topics in contemporary analytic political, legal, and moral philosophy.
To apply, please send an abstract of 700-1000 words (excluding references) to polemo@ceu.edu by March 1, 2025. Abstracts should be in PDF format and fully prepared for blind review. Please include your name, institutional affiliation, and contact information in the body of your email. Final papers should be suitable for a 20-minute presentation. We expect to send out notifications of acceptance by late March.
The conference will be held at CEU's campus in Vienna. It is planned as a fully in-person event.
Conference Costs
Attendance is free of charge and open to anyone upon registration. Please note that POLEMO is unable to provide financial assistance for participants though lunches and coffee breaks will be covered for the duration of the conference, along with a social dinner on the first day of the event.
