Well folks one type of project that I have been working off and on for some time is my Retro VA Fancast projects or shall I say my "What if this game had an English dub back then?" series. Now you might think "What makes Retro any different from other fancasts?" namely its set on a certain year (in this case when the feature first came out) and can potentially contain Voice Actors who are dead now but were alive & well then. And yes both regular and "Retro" fancasts do have their pros and cons. Traditionally I would do these with at least 4 (but nowadays often) regions such as California, Canada (places like Vancouver), Texas, New York and more. Here are the projects I have done in the past.
Final Fantasy 7- Google Doc, Youtube
Darkstalkers 3- Google Doc, Youtube
Rival Schools United By Fate- Google Doc, Youtube
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney- Google Doc, Youtube
Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon- Google Doc, Youtube
Mortal Kombat Gold (Alt. Dub)- Google Doc, Youtube
Mega Man 8/X4 (2002 Re-release Edition)- Google Doc
Castlevania Symphony of the Night (98 Rerelease Alt. Dub)- Google Doc
Fire Emblem Sacred Stones- Google Doc (currently WIP)
Now some might wonder why did the Youtube Video links stop after MK Gold? Unfortunately shortly after I finished working on the vids for Mega Man 8/X4 I lost the computer they were in and the clips it had (long story why) and it happened not too long before BTVA had a site outage that caused them to lose a bunch of audio clips. But I'm still in the process of fixing that little issue amongst others. Still here is a one-link stop for all my previous Retro VA Fancasts in which I have so far done this for various video games. While I am open to the idea of doing this to other types of productions but I would have to figure out the logistics. Still here is the listing here.
