Service Guidelines

Welcome to Pokecord! The Guidelines on this webpage are enforced by our Terms of Service. Failure to comply with these Guidelines is punishable by our means at our discretion. We reserve the right to withhold notice or reason when executing punishments. We reserve the right to use our interpretations of these Guidelines in cases of incompliance as identified by us.

Official Pokecord's Guidelines

The following guidelines under this section of the page are in effect exclusively within Official Pokecord. (Discord Server ID 718872125490069534; otherwise referenced as the "Server", "Official Server", or "Community".)

Please note that the Service Guidelines are also in effect within the Official Server.

Disclaimer on External Policies

Discord's Terms of Service apply in our Community. We actively enforce their terms at our discretion.

• • We enforce, and do not limit to enforcing age requirement (13+) and using prohibited third party plugins (such as "BetterDiscord").

  • Joking about your age and/or using prohibited third party plugins is punishable.

Prohibited Advertisement

• • Direct Messaging ("DMing") a user via the Official Server (you share Official Pokecord as a mutual server) for the purposes of advertising is prohibited.

  • Messaging via the Official Server (within Official Pokecord) for the purposes of advertising is prohibited. This does not include on-topic advertising in designated advertisement channel(s).

  • Advertising includes, but does not limit to:

    1.  Social media promotion

    2.  Discord server promotion

    3.  "Pokémon Daycare" service promotion

  • Attempting to advertise is punishable.

Prohibited Message Content (Official Pokecord)

• • Messages sent containing not safe for work ("NSFW") content is prohibited.

  • NSFW content includes, but does not limit to:

    1.  Pornography

    2.  Sexually suggestive messages and media

    3.  Racially insensitive and/or outright racist messages and media

    4.  Homophobic messages and media

    5.  Self-harm, harm to others, and suicide

  • Messages sent impersonating and/or attempting to impersonate anything and/or anyone is prohibited.

  • Messages sent containing excessive begging is prohibited.

  • Messages sent for the purpose of spamming and flooding channels is prohibited.

  • Messages sent containing graphics interchange format ("GIFs") and/or non-default emojis (as defined by Discord) where flashing (rapidly or not) of color and/or images is present, is prohibited.

  • Messages sent for the purpose of being toxic towards other users is prohibited.

  • Toxicity includes, but does not limit to:

    1.  Name calling

    2.  Excessive, malicious swearing

    3.  Bullying

  • Messages sent containing joke(s) of any prohibited message content is punishable.

Prohibited Actions (Official Pokecord)

• • Scamming a user via the Official Server (in our server, and/or you share Official Pokecord as a mutual server and A. initiated an agreement and/or B. advertisement either via A. DM or B. in Official Pokecord) is prohibited.

  • Scamming includes, but does not limit to the promising of another user good(s), then:

    1.  Failing to deliver said good(s)

    2.  Changing the original agreement

  • Goods include, but do not limit to the Service's Pokémon and currencies.

  • Using channels in ways other than their intended usage is prohibited.

  • Proactively offering "daycare" services (leveling Pokémon for other users) is prohibited.

  • Using Voice Channels ("VCs") in a disruptive or inappropriate manner is prohibited.

  • Disruptive and inappropriate behavior in VCs include, but do not limit to:

    1.  Making or playing excessively loud noises

    2.  Playing or streaming NSFW content

  • Joking about engaging in a Prohibited Action under this section is punishable.

  • Attempting to engage in a Prohibited Action under this section is punishable.

Service Guidelines

The following guidelines under this section of the page are in effect covering the entirety of the Service, including Official Pokecord.

Prohibited Message Content (Service-wide)

• • Messages sent containing propaganda and/or for the purpose of spreading propaganda is prohibited.

  • Propaganda includes, but does not limit to:

    1.  Statements with no basis or based on assumption without acknowlegement that such statement is made with no basis or based on assumption

    2.  Initiating rumors and/or spreading rumors with no basis or based on assumption

    3.  Spreading hearsay without acknowlegement that such content is hearsay

    4.  Ultimatums

Prohibited Actions (Service-wide)

• • Exchanging Service goods for goods outside the Service is prohibited.

  • Goods outside the Service include, but do not limit to:

    1.  Other Discord bot currencies and assets

    2.  Discord Nitro and Discord Nitro Basic

    3.  Genuine currency

  • Any form of bot and/or automation of human actions, including the discussion of such, is prohibited.

  • Bots and automation include, but do not limit to:

    1.  "Autoclickers"

    2.  "Autospammers"

    3.  "Autocatchers"

  • Actions causing disruption to the Service is prohibited.

  • Actions causing disruption include, but do not limit to:

    1.  Spamming the Bot with commands

    2.  Spamming the Sites with requests

    3.  Abusing glitches and/or hacks

  • Joking about engaging in a Prohibited Action under this section is punishable.

  • Attempting to engage in a Prohibited Action under this section is punishable.
