Mary Bridges' Scrapbook

Mary Bridges was an enthusiastic scrapbooker who saved newspaper clippings of notable Trigg County events 1901 to 1934 that can be found in MS10-94.

Pictured is the front page of Bridges' book from the Mary Bridges' Scrapbook Collection. The following pages include articles on the Civil War, obituaries, short stories, and poetry, most of which was written between the First World War to the 1920s.

Woods Florist Ledgers

Woods Florist operated in Murray during the Great Depression and World War II. Within MS13-10 are business ledgers and other financial records.

Maggie Paul Woods kept exhaustive records of her sales and purchases in a number of books from 1934-48. Pictured are Woods' Social Security Time Book, "Ledger" spending book, "Flowers" spending book, and People's Savings Book. The ledgers have loose receipts along with other miscellaneous items from the era.
