The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) launched the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future, an initiative to increase funding for public schools to close achievement gaps and provide equitable educational. The Blueprint Pillars are: early childhood education, quality and diverse teachers, college and career readiness (CCR), additional funding for students, and governance and accountability.
