MEETING MAKE-UPS

Visits to Other Rotary Clubs

When you're unable to attend our own Club's gatherings, keep in mind the following alternative attendance opportunities at the regular meetings of the other three Rotary Clubs in Pocatello:

  • Centennial Rotary Club - Mondays at 7:00 a.m. (Elmer's)

  • Gate City Rotary Club - Tuesdays at noon (Clarion Inn)

  • Portneuf Rotary Club - Tuesdays at 5:15 p.m. (Portneuf Valley Brewery)

Video Recordings of Club Meetings

The club also records each of it's weekly Thursday meetings live so you never have to miss a club meeting. If you can't physically attend the weekly meeting or watch the live recording you can access the recorded versions under the videos section of our Facebook page (click here). Once you watch a recorded meeting or visit another club, send an email to pocatellorotary@gmail.com informing us of the fact and you will receive make-up attendance credit.

Pocatello Rotary Club Payment Options

Due to our small size, the club can't afford to meet the PCI security requirements that would allow us to accept credit card information over the phone. The club is authorized to accept the following forms of payment:

  • Check

  • Direct Bank-to-Bank fund transfer

This is the same method that power, water or gas companies, etc. use to auto-deduct your monthly payment. One week before the transaction you would receive an invoice as usual allowing you to verify that the invoice does not have any errors. Assuming the invoice is correct, an auto-transfer of funds from your checking account to ours would take place about seven days later.

There is a one-time setup process where we send you a form requesting your checking account number and your bank’s routing number along with your signature on a form granting us permission to do this. There are no fees associated with this process.

  • Credit Card

Venmo

You can pay your dues via Venmo using the payee identifier @Pocatello-Rotary. Venmo does not charge any fees for sending money from a linked bank account, debit card or your Venmo balance. However, if you use a credit card, Venmo adds approximately 3% to the total cost.

PayPal

We can send you a PayPal invoice that you can pay using an already established PayPal account (if you have one) or by entering your credit card information each time you receive an invoice. However, since there is no reserve built into what we invoice for dues, we add approximately 3.90% to the total invoice cost to cover Paypal fees (which are currently 3.49% plus $0.49 per transaction).
