Presentation Guidelines

  • Time Allotment for Keynote Speech Sessions (45-minute long)

5 minutes for chair's introduction

30 minutes for keynote speech

The remaining time for Q&A


  • Time Allotment for Presentation Sessions (90-minute long)

For 3-presentatino session:

5 minutes for chair's introduction

20 minutes for each presentation

The remaining time for Q&A


For 4-presentatino session:

5 minutes for chair's introduction

15 minutes for each presentation

The remaining time for Q&A


1. Each room will have two pieces of paper labeled “Two Minutes Remaining” and “Time’s up”.

Feel free to use these as reminders for presenters when they are approaching the time limit.

2. Please audience limit their questions to 2 minutes.



  • Poster Session

  1. Display Time and Areas: Posters, both for competition and demo, can be placed starting from 13:30, September 16 (Day 1) through 11:00, September 18 (Day 3). The display areas are at the Kachina Lounge of Student Union Memorial Center (Day 1) and at Café Commons of ERN2 Building (Day 2 & 3) respectively.

  2. Poster Core Session: 13:45-14:45, September 17 (Day 2) is scheduled as the Poster Core Session for the Poster Competition. For those participants joining Poster Competition, please ensure your presence during the Poster Core Session, give a brief introduction to the judges and answer their questions.

  3. Remove Time: Posters should be removed from the display area at 11:00, September 18 (Day 3).

  4. Poster Competition Awards Ceremony: The award ceremony for the winning poster will be held during the closing ceremony, at Conf. Rm S107 (ENR2), 11:45-14:30, September 18 (Day 3).
