Dr. Reneé Richardson and her husband, Shawn, chose to make Plum their home 11 years ago because of the central location between their hometowns of Vandergrift and Wilkinsburg and the school district reputation. They have three boys, Shawn Jr., Maxim, and Madden all currently students at various schools in the district.
Reneé is a 2003 graduate of Kiski Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy. She has been working for Giant Eagle Pharmacy for 17 years. She is currently the Senior Manager of Pharmacy Training, Education, and Community Relations and is the President of the BLACC (Black Leaders and Collaborators Collective) Business Resource Group and serves on Giant Eagle’s Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity Council.

Reneé believes in putting the students first in all decisions. She believes in listening to all points of view and working together to make the right decisions and provide viable solutions for the students and families of the district. Reneé is looking forward to bringing a new level of diversity to the board, affecting positive change in the district, and creating stronger ties to our communities! She is excited to meet more of our families, hear the needs and desires of our community, and working together to make an impact! Go Mustangs!
