Welcome to the Version 4 of the Dispatch Handbook. This document contains a lot of important material and information that you require knowledge and understanding of. Dispatch is a secondary position within the Paralake Police Department, which you apply for on the PLPD Careers as Probationary Dispatcher. Dispatch is not for everyone and requires a lot of patience and understanding, but is worth the reward.

Whether you are applying as a Dispatcher or already a dispatcher, take the time necessary to go through this document, as it will give you all the skills necessary to start your career with the Dispatch Division. We have a plethra of experience within Dispatch team, who will be more than happy to assist you while you are on duty.
