1. Bekantan statue

This was the first place of me for traveling. That was Bekantan Statue. I was surprised because it looked similar to Merlion in Singapore but it's a monkey statue. I really liked this place it looked beautiful at night because of the lights. We enjoyed taking photos with it.

Bekantan statue was located near the river so after we took pictures, we went to ride a boat that's called Kelotok. If I am not mistaken this was the second time of me in my life to ride a boat. That was so fun because we could see many things around the river.

2. Banjarmasin floating market

Banjarmasin floating market is a traditional market that you can see many local things. Open from 03.00 - 09.00 am

Labirin tambang ulang pelaihari is the maze that was located in Tambang Ulang city.

4. Masjid Sabilal Muhtadin

Masjid Sabilal Muhtadin is the largest mosque in Banjarmasin, Indonesia, in terms of capacity to accommodate people. The name chosen for this Banjarmasin Sultan Mosque is a tribute and appreciation to the late Grand Scholars, Sheikh Muhammad al-Banjary Arsyad, who had developed Islam in the kingdom of Banjar or South Kalimantan region now.

5. Masjid Alkaromah Martapura

Masjid Alkaromah Martapura is a large mosque located in Martapura Town, Banjar District, South Kalimantan and is the largest mosque in South Kalimantan. The mosque is also a landmark of Martapura Town because it is easily accessible from all cities in South Kalimantan because it is located on Jl. Ahmad Yani which is the main road (national road) between cities, especially from East Kalimantan(north direction) to the city of Banjarmasin.

Bekantan Rehabilitation or Sahabat Bekantan is the place that rescue Bekantans that were one of the species of monkey.

8. Wedding ceremony

I was so lucky because i had a good opportunity to go to the wedding ceremony. The bride was my buddy's cousin so she invited me to join in her cousin's wedding. The wedding was so awesome. I felt like I was walking in the castle and joined in a wedding between the prince and the princess.

9. Museum Lambumg Mangkurat

Museum Lambumg Mangkuratis a museum in Jalan Ahmad Yani 36, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The museum has a notable collection of artifacts related to the Banjar and Dayak peoples, with many items being excavated from archaeological sites all around Kalimantan. It is also home to an array of ancient Hindu objects.
