Privacy Policy - Plotsy

Plotsy (the app) is a private symptom, pain and health journal developed by Serhii Tykhonenko (we, us). Your privacy is the foundation of how Plotsy is built. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what happens to your information.
The short version
Plotsy does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your device. There is no account, no cloud by default, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. On the App Store, Plotsy's privacy label is "Data Not Collected".
What data Plotsy stores, and where
Everything you log - symptoms, pain levels (0-10), pain-quality tags, body areas, triggers, medications and doses, daily mood, sleep, energy and wellbeing, flare-ups, notes, and any photos you attach - is stored only in Plotsy's private storage on your device. We never receive a copy. We cannot see it.
No account or sign-up: you don't create a profile or log in. There is nothing to identify you.
Offline by design: Plotsy works fully offline and does not send your journal anywhere.
No cloud by default: version 1 stores your data locally and does not sync to iCloud or any server. If a future version offers optional sync, it will be clearly opt-in.
What Plotsy does NOT do
No analytics or usage tracking.
No advertising and no ad identifiers (no IDFA).
No third-party SDKs, no social logins, no marketing tools.
No selling or sharing of data with anyone.
No Apple Health or HealthKit access in version 1.
Device permissions
Plotsy only asks for a permission when you use the feature that needs it.
Camera and Photos: only if you choose to attach a photo to an entry. Photos are stored inside the app on your device and are never uploaded.
Face ID: only if you turn on the optional app lock. Authentication is handled by Apple's system; Plotsy never sees your biometric data.
Notifications: only if you set a reminder. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device.
Exporting and sharing - you are in control
Plotsy lets you create a doctor-ready PDF, a CSV of your records, and a full backup. These files are generated on your device. They leave your device only when you choose to share or save them through the standard iOS share sheet. Once you share a file, it is handled by that destination, not by Plotsy.
Your data, your control
Edit or delete any entry at any time inside the app. Delete everything by removing the app from your device - this erases all Plotsy data with it. Because your data never reaches us, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
Children
Plotsy is a general-audience journaling app and is not directed to children under 13. Because the app collects no data from anyone, no information is knowingly collected from children.

Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page.
