In 2135, the illegal potion 'Chroma' began to spread in 'Marakaya', a commercial hub and mega city country. There is no information about ‘chroma’. The investigation has been at a standstill for several years. A demanding mission for which no one volunteers. The Marakaya Central Investigation Bureau entrusts the 'Chroma' case to troublesome detectives Eunho and Bamby.
[Serial Article 1] Who is the missing author 3v3r?
The article starts with the LMS operator introducing themself before announcing to the LMS club members about plans of launching a project on discovering lost media by the webtoon author 3v3r during the semester. They describe 3v3r as a webtoon author who had a decent following because of their works. Due to platform issues, their last work was discontinued. Additionally, all of 3v3r's other works and traces of said works have been deleted, disappearing from the public. It is then established that the serial article is about tracing the works of 3v3r through a combination of rumors and clues.
It lists down 3v3r's three main works:
1. Today, I'm Going to Treat You
Today, I'm Going to Treat You was a work serialized at the time the webtoon service of the domestic portal site started to become more popular. It eventually went viral because of its unique worldview.
2. Heart of the Moon
Heart of the Moon was initially published under the amateur section of the webtoon platform. However, it was granted official serialization rights after being selected in the top 5 works in the amateur section of "A" platform.
3. Chroma Drift
Chroma Drift was published in a new web novel platform that launched its own webtoon service. After being serialized for over a year, it garnered a small fandom. The story is about the investigation of a criminal organization in a cyberpunk dystopia. Serialization of the work was discontinued due to the web novel platform’s service shutting down due to financial difficulties.
△ Web page where Chroma Drift was serialized
The article continues with a referral and link to the 3v3r page of LMS for additional and more updated information about the author. It is stated that among the three main works enumerated above, Chroma Drift was the only work accessible through available primary source material. The LMS operator reiterates that LMS will continue to speculate on 3v3r's works using traces of Chroma Drift found online.
They conclude the article by inviting the reader to look forward to the next article, announcing how the next series article will explain how Chroma Drift and 3v3r were made known. Another reminder at the foot of the article encourages anyone who has any information about 3v3r or Chroma Drift to contact the LMS through their e-mail (lostmediasociety@gmail.com).

[Serial Article 2] Chroma Drift Traces Collection 1
The second serial article starts with a greeting to the reader, then proceeds with an explanation that the article will delve deeper into the lost media. Stating that the reason why LMS started researching and defining the works of 3v3r as lost media is because of Chroma Drift. Uncovering information on this particular work began by coincidence when a club member was in conversation with a generative AI.
During the conversation, an unfamiliar webtoon called Chroma Drift was mentioned by the generative AI. With the consideration that the information about said webtoon may have been made up by ChatGPT, the club member inquired further about its actual existence.
The picture above shows the ChatGPT confirming Chroma Drift's existence despite the difficulty of finding any information about it on the internet. LMS' further investigation of inputing several major keywords into various search engines that may relate to the work finally led to the post shown below in a free question platform.
The brief answer confirms the existence of Chroma Drift. Because of this, LMS has classified the work as 'Lost Media', trying to investigate further for more clues. The first thing LMS did was to search for Chroma Drift through a search engine dedicated to lost media.
The now-defunct Chroma Drift page was serialized under a service that mainly published web novels but also published webtoons, which explains why the previous article posted mistook it as a web novel.
The picture above shows the page where episodes of Chroma Drift were posted. Despite the missing thumbnail images, the episode titles and descriptions are still available.
The official synopsis of Chroma Drift is presented as follows:
"In the year 2135, the commercial hub and mega-city nation of Maracaya begins to be plagued by the spread of an illegal potion 'Chroma'. Information about 'Chroma' is non-existent. For years, the investigation has been at a standstill. It is a difficult mission that no one volunteers for. The Maracaya Central Bureau of Investigation entrusts the case to the troublesome detectives, Eunho and Bamby."
The genre, subject matter, and content match with previous clues. Additionally, the author's name and information about characters can be identified. In the story, Eunho and Bamby are detectives investigating criminal cases and appear to be partners. Opposite of the two is a character named Terry, who is an enhanced human and a key member of a criminal organization.
It is stated that the content of Chroma Drift and the relationship between its characters will be further explored in the next article. At the foot of the article is another note encouraging anyone who has any information about 3v3r or Chroma Drift to contact the LMS through their e-mail (lostmediasociety@gmail.com).
[Other] LMS Regular Meeting Minutes
The serial article contains an attachment of a text document file entitled Regular_Meeting_Minutes.txt (정기_모임_회의록.txt), containing a unicode decimal code that translates to a succession of the same Korean phrase without spaces five times once decoded.
"알림오늘나관람차게임기알림오늘너관람차게임기눈

알림오늘나관람차게임기알림오늘너관람차게임기눈

In English, the repeated phrase translates to:
"Notification today: Me, Ferris Wheel, Game Machine,
Notification today: You, Ferris Wheel, Game Machine, Eyes.
Notification today: Me, Ferris Wheel, Game Machine,

This was posted on January 16, 2025, which was the same day as a Noah, Bamby & Eunho Live. During the live, the Ferris wheel and game machines were shown in the background. Shadows of three small figures could be seen boarding the Ferris wheel, and the screen on the game machines showed two creatures in its menu.
[Serial Article 3] Chroma Drift Poster Obtained
The third article opens with a hello, introducing itself as the third post.
The previous article is credited for the number of people who remember Chroma Drift and have reached out to LMS to share information. It is mentioned that, unfortunately, images relating to the work have gone missing, but thanks to valuable clues provided, the thumbnail image of the webtoon was obtained. LMS shares their excitement with the reader, attaching the said image on the left (laptop/ipad) ⬅️or above (phone)⬆️
The footer is another reminder to the readers to please continue providing information to the LMS through their e-mail (lostmediasociety@gmail.com).

For more information, additional keywords such as the author's name, "3v3r", and "ChroMagnon" were used. Some of 3v3r's answers in an interview conducted by the serial platform were found.
Those were all the data they have managed to secure. If any information about 3v3r and Chroma Drift is known, the reader is encouraged to report it to lostmediasociety@gmail.com.
The 3v3r page focuses on the information about 3v3r. It contains information split into four categories, which include 3v3r's profile, nickname, list of works, and gossip and rumors related to 3v3r.
1. Profile
Finished serializations of webtoons began around the time a certain domestic portal site began to gain popularity with its diverse services. 3v3r witnessed this even as the number of online webtoons readers increased and demand grew. This caused them to begin dreaming of debuting. 3v3rs first serial, "Today, I'm Treating You," was a four-panel comic, a 4 panel long slice of life series which was popular at the time of release. In an interview, 3v3r stated that this debut work was "a work to support my own dreams" and "a time to reflect on everyday emotions."
3v3r then began to subsequently established their own unique style with works like "Heart of the Moon" and "Chroma Drift." However, all three works remained unfinished, drawing criticism from readers for the lack of completion. 3v3r then went into a hiatus for unknown reasons. Currently, all of 3v3r's works are lost, and it is believed that all records of the works were deleted at the request of the author.
2. Nickname
3v3r is a unique pen name, and readers have debated how to pronounce it. Readers have read it in various ways, including "sambyeol (삼븨)", "samjjeogu(3쩌구)," and "sambeoli(삼벌이)" .
There are multiple credible interpretations of the meaning of the pen name:
It is said to be a type of emoji that utilized special characters that were popular at the time, and was created to express a cute expression with arms outstretched.
It is interpreted that 3v3r is a play on words that was popular among Internet users at the time, changing E to 3, and is a variation of the word 'ever'.
The 3v3r has once revealed that "I was typing randomly on the QWERTY keyboard because I couldn't think of a name, and then I discovered that the distance between the V and R keys was 3 spaces, so I created the pen name 3v3r."
3. List of Works
There are currently six works believed to be 3v3r's work, most of which are classified as of uncertain existence.
