Preceded by "HMPH!", Caligo Pt. 2 sees PLAVE continue to explore their musical styles. However, in contrast to Caligo Pt. 1, there's more of a focus on their R&B sound on this fourth mini album.

"꽃송이들의 퍼레이드 (Blossom Parade)" is an acapella track that relies on PLAVE's vocals to create a smooth vibe about falling in love in a blooming spring.

The SOLE-featuring R&B song "흥흥흥 (HMPH!)" provides a chill mood with its relaxing guitars, while its lyrics focus on the tumultuous struggle of a couple.

Title track "Born Savage" is the only rock track on the project, and in contrast to "Dash"'s moody midtempo rhythm, this song features a more upbeat and motivated battle cry.

Named after NOAH's fictional Webtoon, "Lunar Hearts" is a comforting, orchestral ballad about a magical, eternal love.

"그런것같아 (Think I Am)" continues PLAVE's line of retro throwbacks, this time going into new jack swing while the members sing about devotion and care.
