PLAVE face their enemies, Caligo, on Caligo Pt.1, their third mini album. Preceded by the music video for "Island", the mini album is the group's most diverse to date as they explore a mix of heavy and light sounds.

"Chroma Drift", a reference to BAMBY and EUNHO's fictional webtoon of the same name, is a dreamy city pop song with soft synths and an iconic saxophone solo. Its lyrics are about exploring an unfamiliar new world, a la the cyberpunk city found in the titular webtoon.

"Dash" is PLAVE's heaviest song yet; the group lets out all their anger on this hard rock/hip-hop title track. The song bounces back and forth between sentimental and furious styles while the group sings, raps, and even screams of fighting to chase their dream.

"RIZZ" is, as per the lyrics, "freaky cheeky freaky". The members liken themselves to a "sweetie cupcake" on this goofy hip-hop song, seeking to seduce someone they're in love with.

"Island" is an all-English piano ballad for PLLI as PLAVE sing about being rescued by PLLI's love, which brings color to a monochromatic island. As the song progresses, the group's vocals become more stronger as they hope to share this island with PLLI.

"12:32 (A to T)" is a calm R&B song based on the connection between Asterum and Terra during the titular time, where PLAVE gets to spend a moment with PLLI. This relaxing tune is a promise to protect PLLI with all the members' lives.
