Exchanging Information

Reaching out

To start our relationship - first you need to send us an email using a corporate email address. This is to verify you are a developer or industry professional. You can send us an email at playstationonreddit@gmail.com. The mod team may reach out to you first using the aforementioned email to kick off a relationship.

When sending the email; Let us know what game and development studio you are from.

All the conversation outlined below will be held within an email.

Scheduling

Now we need to figure out the best dates and time for everyone. Targeting a high traffic US time-zone is usually best. Specifically, Pacific Standard Time (PST) around 10 AM - 7 PM.

Here is a third party traffic site that you can use to help seek a decent time and day to post.

Verification

Now that we have a date and time set for the AMA we'll need to get some Reddit accounts verified. Some AMA'ers decide to use a singular account named for that studio to answer questions. Others either create new accounts or already have accounts they use and answer questions using multiple accounts from various develops within your team.

We will ask for any account(s) you will be using in the AMA so we can verify them on the subreddit.

On the subreddit, we will set the account as an "approved submitter" along with a flair on the account that signifies it's verified.

Finalizing

Now that we have a set schedule and verified accounts we should be ready to go. The AMA time/date will be added to our sidebar.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord server. We have private channels for folks in the industry. In an effort to try and keep communication open for ongoing help, potential future projects or AMAs. If this interests you, please hop on to our server - while letting us know what accounts you would like in the private channels: https://discord.gg/KvutSum.

Creating a post

The next step for you will be to create the post when the scheduled time/date is here.
