Entering his third year in the Flex Time doctoral program in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning at OISE, Keith's main area of research revolves around the relationships between spiritual practices and teacher development. As a volunteer group meditation facilitator for a campus group since 2011, Keith has been inspired to find new ways to introduce the healing benefits of mindfulness and meditation to professional contexts and teaching pedagogy, where it is much needed. In addition to his ongoing research in holistic curriculum at OISE, Keith is working in the music performing rights industry, helping music composers to receive royalties for live music performances. A strong supporter of empowering people to find art and music in their everyday experiences, Keith is always trying to find ways to incorporate movement, the senses, and imagination into meditative practice, particularly through the use of embodied metaphor, autobiography, and guided imagery. Keith is also teaching English on weekends to elementary school students in a private tutoring school.
