The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in observance of Mahavir Jayanti. Trading across all segments—equities, derivatives, currency, SLB (Securities Lending & Borrowing), and EGR (Electronic Gold Receipts)—will halt for the day. Normal trading activities will resume on Friday, April 11, 2025.
Mahavir Jayanti marks the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism.
